About LawVine
What is LawVine?
LawVine is a co-counsel and legal referral network powered by the Law Offices of Jason Turchin. We partner with attorneys across the country to help them grow their practice through:
- Qualified co-counsel opportunities
- Referral revenue for overflow or out-of-scope cases
- Collaborative marketing without upfront investment
- Strategic litigation partnerships in high-value cases
LawVine bridges the gap between modern digital marketing and trusted legal collaboration. We’re not a lawyer directory — we’re a curated network of attorneys working together to serve clients more efficiently and profitably.

Who Created LawVine?
LawVine was founded by Jason Turchin, a nationally recognized personal injury and insurance claims attorney who built his practice from scratch in 2002 with a $5/month marketing budget. Since then, he’s handled over 6,500 cases and grown his firm into a multi-state practice handling personal injury, product liability, life insurance disputes, cruise injuries, and more.
Jason created LawVine to help other attorneys experience similar growth through referral and co-counsel relationships — without having to reinvent the wheel.

What Makes LawVine Different?
Unlike traditional referral models or lawyer marketplaces, LawVine offers:
- Co-counsel opportunities, not just referrals
- Access to our in-house marketing and intake systems
- Transparent, ethical fee sharing with clear expectations
- A platform built by lawyers who understand what firms really need
Whether you’re looking to co-counsel on major litigation or just refer out a single case, we’ve made the process simple, compliant, and relationship-driven.

LawVine Partnership Options
Can I Co-Counsel on a Case?
Yes. Many of our attorney partners prefer to stay involved in a case as co-counsel. This is a great option if:
- You want to litigate but need help with intake or strategy
- You’re new to a particular case type and want support
- You want access to experienced litigators while maintaining client involvement
Co-counsel arrangements are always documented in writing and follow all applicable ethical rules.
Can I Refer a Case and Let LawVine Handle It?
Absolutely. If a case is outside your practice area, in a jurisdiction you don’t cover, or you’re just too busy to take it on, you can refer the case to LawVine.
You’ll receive updates on the case and, if allowed by your jurisdiction, a referral fee based on the outcome.
What If I Want to Focus Only on One Type of Case?
That’s perfectly fine. We tailor your partnership profile to your preferences — whether you only want life insurance disputes, cruise injury claims, or Florida-based auto accidents. You’ll only be offered opportunities that match your stated criteria.

Compensation & Compliance
How Are Referral and Co-Counsel Fees Structured?
We use written agreements that outline:
- The roles of each attorney or firm
- Percentage splits based on jurisdictional rules
- Ethical compliance with local bar guidelines
Our goal is full transparency. We want every partner to feel informed, protected, and fairly compensated.
Do I Need to Be Licensed in Specific States?
Not necessarily. If you refer a case, you do not need to be licensed in the state where the claim is based. If you co-counsel, you’ll need to be compliant with that state’s admission or pro hac vice rules — and we’ll help guide that process.
Are There Any Costs to Join?
No. LawVine does not charge attorneys to apply or join the network. We make money by litigating and resolving cases — not from selling access or placement.

Geographic Scope
Where Does LawVine Operate?
We accept and handle cases in all 50 states. Our strongest presence is currently in:
- Florida
- New York
- New Jersey
- California
If you’re licensed in another state and interested in building a referral or co-counsel relationship, we’d love to speak with you.
Can I Join If I’m a Solo Attorney?
Yes. Many of our most successful partners are solo attorneys who use LawVine to:
- Grow their practice without hiring a team
- Accept litigation support on bigger cases
- Generate passive income by referring overflow matters
We welcome attorneys at every stage of their career.

Common Process Questions
What Happens After I Apply?
After submitting your application, we’ll review your firm profile and reach out to discuss your goals and preferences. If approved, you’ll be added to our internal partner roster and begin receiving referral or co-counsel opportunities that match your interests.
How Are Clients Handled?
That depends on the arrangement:
- In co-counsel relationships, you may remain the primary point of contact or collaborate directly with our team.
- In referral cases, LawVine handles all client communication while keeping you updated on case progress and outcomes.
Do You Handle Intake and Marketing?
Yes. Our firm manages a national digital marketing presence, including:
- Paid search (Google Ads)
- SEO for high-value practice areas
- Custom intake forms and screening
- Inbound call centers and CRM tools
You benefit from this infrastructure — without the cost or complexity of managing it.
